Can I encode serialized (unique) identifiers in RAIN RFID tags?

Modified on Fri, 30 Aug at 2:40 PM

RAIN RFID tags are built to be able to carry long identifiers from 96 bits up to 512 bits.

These identifiers are encoded in the EPC memory bank (MB01) so that they are backscattered to the reader during the inventory.

This memory size allows to encode any GS1 serialized identifiers like SGTIN, GRAI or SSCC (see GS1 Tag Data Standard or GS1 General Specifications for more information).
